The companies, both life and non-life insurers made the mark in claims settlement to drive home the message that they are always there for the insuring public when the chips are down. 

The companies are Leadway Assurance Company Limited, African Alliance Insurance Plc; Linkage Assurance Plc; and Universal Insurance Plc which made the last list of ‘Best Claims Paying Insurers’ paid out over N37.469billion. 

Daily Independent noted that with their strong financial disposition the firms have been able to live upto their billings in terms of meeting their primary obligations to their policyholders paying claims as at when due, an indication that the companies, have the strength to meet all other financial obligations both internal and external. 

According to DAILY INDEPENDENT checks, the 10 firms paid out the total sum of N150billion in Claims between 2018 and Q 1 2021.
