The governors-elect of the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform have agreed to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, to discuss the way forward for the party’s next national convention.
Governors under the auspices of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) reached an agreement after their meeting on Sunday evening in Abuja behind closed doors.
Bagudu, however, said he did not know when the party’s national convention would be held.
“We have agreed as a forum to seek a date to meet President Buhari and discuss the party’s next national convention.” Its not just good to anticipate or reveal it before the meeting is held.
“We hope to get this appointment as soon as possible. We are looking for an appointment as soon as possible, maybe in the next few days,” said the president of PGF.
Bagudu said the forum will keep the public informed of its decision. on the zoning of elective mandates after meeting with President Buhari.
