The Independent National Electoral Commission begins online voter registration today (28/06/2021)
A statement from the Commission says due to the unrest been experienced Nationwide in recent times has called for a new strategy to be adopted in order to avoid cases of attacks.
The portal for the registration is made functional few hours ago for pre-registration, revalidation and transfer of voting center for those who have relocated.
For the transfer, a voter has to first review his or her information and also link his or her National Identity Number (NIN) before providing two well lit passport size photographs. The passports must be two. One needs to snap with a neutral face without smiles while the other one needs a smile.
