I sat where they sat; Osibanjo stressed as he declare to run for President


The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osibanjo has formally declared his intentions to run for the presidential seat of Nigeria.

Osibanjo while making his declaration speech states that he has served as the Vice President of this great country Nigeria and gone round the entire States and has seen the developmental strive of the Buhari administration and will sustained them.

According to him, He has consulted relevant bodies, traditional rulers, Market Associations and other Unions and having informed the President and the Governors he felt Nigerians deserve to hear directly from him.

The Vice President stressed that he has served Nigeria faithfully under a patriotic leader who has served Nigeria both in peace and war and integrity, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari also seven years.

Buhari and I have worked in the toughest times in the history of our dear Nation Nigeria but in spite of these harsh challenges we have remained very focused mostly on wining the war against insecurity, growing our economy and providing infrastructural development.

Under the seven years of our administration, I have represented Nigeria internationally at the instructions of the president and had several engagements.

I have been to almost all local governments of Nigeria, I have been to farms and oil communities across Nigeria.

Osibanjo went on to list numerous agenda for all sectors of his government to include: enhancing Agricultural productivity to reduce food crises, provision of better environment for businesses to succeed and lastly but majorly creating a tech economy that will be able to provide jobs for at least a million Nigerians.
