All indications are pointing to the fact that seven African countries may legalize the use of Lumi currency by this year, 2022.

The seven countries according to a research carried out intensely by Newsway revealed that a lot of developmental plans are already underway and in this article I carefully outlined few reasons why these African countries may consider legalizing Lumi currency.

The African countries that may legalize Lumi currency are outlined below;

Birland State (Bir Tawil Land):

Birland State is the first African Nation that has indicated interest in the Lumi currency and perhaps adopting it as legal tender for goods and services. The government of the Bir Tawil Land has openly declared its willingness to becoming a member state of the African Diaspora 6th Region. By becoming a member of the African Diaspora Region (ECO-6) the Birland State will by virtue of membership be bond constitutionally to use Lumi as an official currency.

During the tour by the Representatives of the ECO-6 in bid to promote the Lumi currency, the president of the African Diaspora Central Bank Mr. McPherson donated $250 billion worth of Lumi to the Bir Tawil Land for infrastructural development.

Bir Tawil Land has no official currency yet so this is another indication that Lumi will be legalize as an official currency for the state.

Nigeria: 

Nigeria is the second African Nation to officially launch a digital currency (the eNaira) following after Tunisia the continent’s first Nation to launch a Central Bank Digital Currency (eDinar) on the 8th of November 2019.

One of the key benefits of the eNaira is its global acceptability thus enveloping a swap for the Lumi as well. Both the Lumi and eNaira are digital currencies which needs gateways between their platforms to accept each other, though with permissions since they’re CBDCs.

McPherson’s first visit to Nigeria was in 2018 and was received and hosted by the presidency. Though this was the preliminary visit as regards the establishment of the Diaspora Region which was fully endorsed by President Muhammadu Buhari as alleged by McPherson on Arise TV during an interview.

CBN’s willingness to globalize the eNaira mandates Speed wallet to accept a Swap protocol for the Lumi after its promotion on the global economy.

South Africa: 

The Republic of South Africa is the third country that has indicated interest in the Lumi currency and actually believes the Lumi is made for the blacks.

At present some educational institutions in South Africa are collecting fees both in Rand and Lumi. This is an indication that the Lumi acceptability in South Africa is predictable by next year. The South African government has recently proposed some bills to protect it’s citizens from Crypto scam.

Most stakeholders of the Lumi currency are natives of South Africa including the MD Africa Royal Bank Mr. Wiseman who unveiled Lumi exchange App during the one year anniversary celebration of the Lumi currency.

Uganda: 

Uganda has been at the forefront of the Lumi currency promotional activity since its introduction in Africa, first by hosting the Swifin headquarters.

Uganda alone has more Swifin users than any other African nation due to the fact that Swifin performs other e-commerce tasks in the country apart from receiving just stimulus. In Uganda, one has the privilege to make both deposits and withdrawals from either Ecobank or at Swifin agents points. This has indicated the government’s willingness to accept the Lumi as a legal tender for goods and services.

Ghana:

The Gold Coast upon the launch of its digital currency (the e-Cedi) which failed a trial released on the 15th of September this year to be launched in a later date. We presume that after the launch of the e-Cedi which Bloomberg reports that the Bank of Ghana wants to ensure it can be used offline as well will be permitted to accept Lumi currency as a co-CBDC currency by next year.

Ghana was chosen by the African Union to host the headquarters of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) which may adopt Lumi as a single currency for the continental trade.

Tunisia:

Having launched the digital Currency (eDinar) in 2019 Tunisia needs only permission from Diaspora Central Bank to begin the use of the Lumi digital currency. The eDinar wallet will perhaps be linked to Swifin as soon as the Diaspora Central Bank permits exchange of the Lumi currency to respective fiat Currencies by next year.
