The PDP lead State government is working underground to replace the Board of Internal Revenue Services boss Mr. Andrew Ayabam with Chief Mrs. Mimi Adzape Orubibi.
There were speculations that Ayabam will be sacked. Romour going on has it that Mimi was advised to defect from APC and take over the position of the embattled Ayabam.
It could be based on this speculations that a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party Chief John Akperashi wrote on his Facebook timeline that “Some people will not resign voluntarily until they are sacked”.
Cheif John Akperashi played a major role in bringing Mimi back to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He was the one who handed over Mrs. Orubibi to the state Chairman of PDP Hon. John Ngbede at the state secretariat of the party on 2nd August 2021.
Mimi’s official decamping ceremony is slated to hold on Saturday 7th August 2021 in Adikpo Town.
