Both Agent account and Merchant account are Agency accounts. Which can used by businesses to build a service delivery network which ensures last mile reach. There are some differences between these two types of accounts.

An Agent account can be used to register Individual and Business accounts. The Agent Account will automatically receive commission on chargeable transactions performed by the individuals and Businesses registered by and assigned to the Agent account. Such revenue is categorised as T1 revenue.

A Merchant account can be used to register Individual, Business accounts and Agent account. The Merchant account will automatically receive commission on chargeable transactions performed by the individuals, Businesses and Agent registered directly. Such revenue is categorised as T1 revenue. Merchants will also earn revenue from chargeable transactions performed by Customers registered by their Agents. Such revenue is categorised as T2 revenue.

All revenue distribution is automated and allocated and paid in real time as the relevant transaction are executed. So there no need for invoicing.
