President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday inaugurated the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS) with Vice President Yemi Osibanjo as the Chairman.
According to the President, the program seek to lift 100 million Nigerians out of Poverty in ten years.
The President said, if India was able to lift up to 271 million people out of Poverty between 2006 to 2016 then surely Nigeria can also lift 100 million Nigerians out of Poverty in ten years.

“This program seek to address most challenging issues and will provide a framework for a smooth operation rather than disruptive approaches been experienced in the past.”
The program will create jobs, empower the vulnerable people, sustain Businesses, aid individuals with Business ideas to actualize them and so on.
The President went on to say;
Fortunately, we have already started the process but what we need to do now is to unlock the challenges of slow implementation, inappropriate targeting and the right resources for the job.
