Two rival smartphones are set to revolutionize the cryptocurrency industry by reducing the energy consumption when mining Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Vertu, a manufacturer of high-end cellphones, has re-entered the market with the ground-breaking “Metavertu,” which it describes as the first web3 phone ever made. Metavertu can swiftly go from an ordinary Android phone to Web3 mode, where it can run a blockchain node and create NFTs.
Similarly, the much anticipated Tesla Model Pi smartphone is even rumored to do much more than just mining cryptocurrencies. The Elon Musk’s owned smartphone will be able to remotely control a self-driven car and connect to a satellite.
Amazing features of the Metavertu
The three-lens camera array on each model includes a 64 MP main camera with a Sony IMX787 sensor, a 50 MP ultra wide-angle camera, and an 8 MP periscope camera. All models also have a ceramic frame and delicately curved screens. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8Gen1 processor powers these functionalities.
According to the UK-based startup, the Vshot camera software enables users to instantaneously transform acquired images or videos into NFTs. “Make your pictures deserving.” The business claims that anyone can be an artist in the Web3 environment.
Though the High-end phone retailer filed for bankruptcy in 2017, but reopened under new management the following year. Ventu has recently made the exciting foray into Web3, NFTs, and the metaverse with the creation of “Metavertu,” which changes from web2 to web3 in a matter of seconds.
The smartphone comes in eight different styles, each with a selection of colors and finishes. The price range is from 3,000 to 40,000 euros. The back of the entry-level model is made of calfskin, while the back of the top model is made of Himalayan alligator leather, 18-karat gold, and diamonds.
