JUST IN: Staking on the PiBridge is currently live; users can stake PiB for WPi

Staking on the PiBridge is currently live. Users can now stake native PiB tokens for Wrapped Pi ($WPI) by staking the protocol.

On January 6th at 13:00 UTC, staking on PiBridge became active. Users were made aware of the feature by the decentralized all-in-one banking platform via Twitter. In the tweet announcing the change and on Telegram, PiBridge displayed the tantalizing Annual Percentage Rate (APR).

The PiBridge dApp presently offers the PiB and BUSD-PiB LP farms. According to the team’s post on Telegram, users can stake either PiB or BUSD-PiB Liquidity Pool to earn WPi, and both farms will last for three months starting on January 6.

Users who stake PIB or Liquidity Pool earn different amounts of WPI incentives. As a result, WPI is compensated in proportion to the amount of PIB or BUSD-PIB LP staked. The PiB farm has an APR of 786,000+ % and a total value locked (TVL) of $11,940 as of the time of writing. It’s vital to keep in mind, though, that APRs fall as TVL rises.
