The Benue state House of assembly today Dec 3, 2019 has approved the extension of all the 23 local government caretaker chairmen by six 6 months.
According to the media assistant to the caretaker committee chairman of Kwande local government, Hon. Nater Gbaa said, this became necessary since the local government elections were yet to be conducted.
Nater Gbaa went further to say he was grateful because his principal had ongoing projects that needed to be finished so he is glad because these projects will be completed before the expiration of the extended period.
