A man has been killed by the Benue vigilante group in Adikpo town in kwande local government Area of Benue State this morning.

Romour has it that the young man might have been running from the patrol team of the vigilante group in the dark hours of today.

A carton kept near his  corpse contained various cooking items including powdered pepper, cray fish, ginger and alligator pepper.

Some of the eye witnesses said the man might have stolen the items from some where.

The police and other security agencies in kwande are yet to act on the matter since the young man’s corpse is still lying on the street where he was shot.

The dead body was found this morning on the street very close to the cold room located beside Aba family compound in Adikpo town.
