A High Court in Abia State has requested the Federal Government to pay the amount of N1 billion to the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and issue a letter of conciliatory sentiment to him.

Kanu had moved to the Court requesting N5 billion over the intrusion of his dad’s home by the military on September 10, 2017.

In a decision on Wednesday, as indicated by his legal advisor, Aloy Ejimakor, the Court presided by Justice Benson Anya expressed that the Federal Government disregarded the IPOB father’s crucial freedoms.

The Court likewise recommended political solutions for the tumult and restoration of the old Biafra Republic advocated by IPOB.

Kanu’s legal advisor revealed this in a tweet, saying, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu WINS as Abia High Court decides that the Federal Government abused his major privileges. Orders the Federal government to pay N1b to him and issue a letter of conciliatory sentiment to him.

“In particular, the Court recommended political answer for the #Biafran formation.”
