The steering committee for the implementation of the survival fund, a program designed under the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) to support MSMEs not to lay-off during the pandemic has disclosed that disbursements may soon be over since the last batch of beneficiaries for all the categories may be paid soon.
The committee headed by the Minister of state for Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Mrs. Miriam Katagum explained that the program has achieved a milestone for the purpose it was designed. She said, payments may soon be over since the last batch of beneficiaries may receive their payments this month.
