Emmanuel Jime becomes NSC’s Executive Secretary

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Bar. Emmanuel Lyambee Jime as the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Shippers Council.

Announcing the appointment by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu said Emmanuel Jime has vast experience and the President expects him to use his experience in delivering on his job.

Jime, a two term National Assembly member (2007-2015) representing Makurdi/Guma and a former Speaker of the  Benue State House of Assembly (1992-1993) and previously the Managing Director of the Nigeria Export Precessing Zone Authority.

Bar. Jime holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law. He has contested twice for the gubernatorial position in Benue State but lost all to Gov. Samuel Ortom.
