SURVIVAL FUND SET TO REOPEN PORTAL FOR FRESH REGISTRATION AS DISBURSEMENT COMMENCES NEXT WEEK

     

 

The steering committee is considering to reopen portal for fresh registration. The committee believed creating a new portal for fresh registration will help curb the fraudulent activities that were experienced in the old portal.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on MSME Mr. Johnson Tola made this known in Abuja yesterday during a stakeholders meeting with Association of Small Business Owners in Garki Morden Market.

Mr. Johnson noted that progress was achieved from program. He believed many businesses that could have layed-off did not courtesy of the program (Survival Fund).

“The committee has approved payment to the last set of beneficiaries which will then bring the total number of beneficiaries of the program to exactly 1.3 million as was planned”.

However, the committee hopes to reopen portal for fresh registration since progress was achieved.
