The first Lady of Benue State Mrs. Eunice Ortom and Nollywood celebrity Regina Daniels will on the 30th of December unveil and crown the first “Queen” of Culture and Tourism Nigeria in Makurdi, the Benue State Capital.
Prior to the grand finale, the first lady alongside Regina Daniels will also be expected at the camp where the contestants are expected to meet certain criteria and showcase some gifts before the grand finale which is scheduled on the 30th of December 2021 in Benue Hotels, Makurdi.
The organizer of the event and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Queen of Culture and Tourism Nigeria, Mr. Chidozie Oliver Amadi popularly known as Ziggy while briefing newsmen in Makurdi the Benue State capital said;
“the event is going to be the first of its kind in the annals of the state as pre-event carnival will take place a day before the main event and awards will be given to well deserved personalities who have contributed in one way or the other to the development of our society.”
According to the CEO, other dignitaries expected to grace the event includes former President Olusegun Obasanjo, a plastic surgeon and politician Hon. Dr. Chia Iornengen, Hon. Jenkins Shande who is the Senate hopeful (Benue North-East), Hon. Godwin Dajo, House of Rep.’s hopeful (Gboko/Tarka), Hon. Terwase Aondoakaa, Member Benue State House of Assembly and Hon. Terfa Ukende, Kwande West State Assembly hopeful.

The Queens will be expected to proceed to the Camp on the 27th of December at Benue Hotels and are expected to spend three days before the main event.

The Star prize available for the first runner-up is a “Volkswagen Golf 4” with an automatic transmission. Other consolation prizes are available for second and third runner-ups respectively.
