Peter Obi supporters fireback at presidential aid over unguided comment

The Special Assistant to the President on digital communication, Hon. Bashir Ahmad is being criticized by the supporters of Labour Party’s presidential candidate Peter Obi over his flashback comment on Obi’s administration as Governor of Anambra State.

Ahmad tweeted on his verified twitter handle @BashirAhmaad that Peter Obi’s treatment of Labour Party and other opposition parties in the state during his reign can never be forgotten. Ruthless, undemocratic and unacceptable.

The tweet received immediate reactions and comments from Nigerians, with some supporting his views while majority of others believed to be OBIdients sees it as a verbal attack on their candidate. Notable amongst the comments were the ones tweeted by @Obongowoibesik1 saying:

“Bashir you came late to the party. A lot of receipts abound here on Twitter on what transpired and how it went down. This is 2023, we won’t watch you cook propaganda like this was 2015.”

and another tweeted by @vykrich supporting her comment with an attachment:

“But this can be forgotten right🙄😏 you dey ment before naa”

the most igniting one was tweeted by @itieubong:

“Sha he stole money and EFCC have his dossier? He was taken to court and he was able to negotiate his way out? Don’t vote PO we understand but stop throwing dirty on him otherwise people will throw so much dirty on you that you will not know where to start from other than to cry.”

Bashir did not clearly mentioned the exact thing Peter Obi did that was “undemocratic” to the opposition parties in Anambra State when was reigned as Governor.
