One of the key concerns of the Pi Network miners is to be KYCeed and subsequently migrated to the mainnet where they might be spending their mined PiCoin when the Mainnet goes live. Unfortunately, the KYC process seems not to favor all pioneers as it is randomly selected at a time.

Because certain Pioneers who have been mining for more than two years may not be KYCeed, this method of selection may not be impartial and is not guaranteed. It might also imply that not all pioneers are eligible for KYC or that there are only a limited number of seats available, necessitating a random selection of individuals from a platform with more than 35 million active users.

One of the KYC validators in Nigeria who spoke to our correspondence in Apo district of Abuja, Mr. Anthony Adanyibe said, the KYC process has just been sent out randomly to any lucky miners on the platform. However there are validators in almost all the countries where Pi Network is upheld by its citizens like we do in Nigeria.

“I’m also a KYC validator in Nigeria, I’ve been mandated to validate at least a thousand KYC on my wait-list and I assume if this could be the case then mass KYC has been rolled out since the beginning of this month.”

No matter when you started mining on the network or how long you’ve been doing it, if you’re lucky enough to be included in this wide deployment, you will undoubtedly be KYCeed.

Since the Core Team hasn’t tweeted anything since March of this year, the latest tweets on the Pi Network’s verified twitter account may indicate that many operations are taking place behind closed doors, according to our observation on the handle.
