Elon Musk again sacked Twitter’s data engineers as he officially takes over the social media giant

In his bid to restructuring the social media company, soon as he finalized the purchase Elon Musk has so far sacked most of the software and data engineers. A source confirmed that Musk has reportedly sacked Twitter’s data engineers in order to replace them with those from Tesla.

According to Deidre Bosa, Elon Musk’s move is to have exclusive control over the company’s strategic departments and restructure the entire organization so that his vision for the social media giant could be achieved. Bosa tweeted on her verified twitter handle @dee_bosa:

“Entire team of data engineers let go.”

She however continued that one of the disengaged data engineers took a car on loan from Tesla which he feared defaulting due lost of his means of livelihood.

“They are visibly shaken. Daniel tells us he owns a Tesla and doesn’t know how he’s going to make payments.”

Though, Bosa noted that Tesla wasn’t actually the point but it’s founder is. She said:

“To be clear – I don’t think the Tesla was top of mind, I think @elonmusk was.”

Earlier, two of the company’s executives  were fired. Musk tweeted “the bird is freed” after the takeover, making reference to the organization’s well-known avian logo.

He fired the company’s chief executive officer, Parag Agrawal, as well as its chief financial officer and head of safety right away, according to unnamed sources cited by the Washington Post and CNBC.
