The Swifin platform in a bid to curb fraudulent registration by members of the public has restricted self registration of new users and can only validates documents presented by Agents or institutions through which new users are now mandated to present documents physically for validation before such accounts may be approved and stimulus paid to it.

A single person is reported to have several accounts through which they transfer Lumi paid as stimulus to their main account thereby accumulating huge amount of Lumi within few months of receiving the stimulus.
