Benue residents alerted of new form of banditry by the Police
The police in Benue State on Monday alerted residents of the new wave of criminality employed by some yet-to-be-identified persons to murder their victims.
Our correspondent reports that the police alarm might not be unconnected with the killing of a young lady whose body was found on Sunday near the old bridge leading to North Bank suburb of Makurdi, the state capital.
It would be recalled that a similar incident occurred only two weeks ago during which the body of a young female graduate who was awaiting NYSC call-up letter was discovered in the same north bank axis after an unidentified customer called her on phone to deliver her clothing items for patronage.
