A Benue born anointed servant of God Bishop Dr. Sam Zuga was last Saturday honoured for the second time with a Doctorate degree in an international university.
Dr. Sam Zuga was honoured alongside several others including the Nigeria’s Chief of army staff, Lt. Gen.Tukur Buratai in an event marking the eight convocation ceremony of the Ecotes Benin University, held at the Cine Le Benin, Cotonou, Benin.
The General Overseer of the House of Joy Ministries was also the guest speaker at the event.
Reacting to the honour, a Facebook user identified as Iorlaha Loho Emmanuel wrote;
“The only way to encourage development in a society is to celebrate and appreciate those who take society issues as their personal problems.
A son can only do extraordinary things in an extraordinary way only if his parents and guardians applause he/she. He went on to express his disappointment in the Tiv ethnic group saying;
“The whole world has been celebrating Dr. Bishop Sam Zuga for awhile, back home, Benue State, particularly the Tiv kingdom are yet to identify with their Son, to show either a Sign of appreciation or encouragement”.
