UPDATE: APC set to receive the leader of YPP in Benue State Dr. Chia Iornengen

The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed Saturday 9th April, 2022 to receive the State leader of the Young Progressives Party, Dr. Chia Iornengen and his thousands of supporters.

Iornengen who was one of the strongest senatorial contenders in the 2019 general elections has expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win all the elective positions in the forthcoming elections which is why God is leading him to the platform.

The Kwande Local Government Chairman of the APC, Hon. Terdoo Kenti stressed that Dr. Chia has a vision to fix Zone A and that vision can only be actualized through the platform of the APC because the party also shares the same aspirations as the one that God has revealed to him (Dr. Chia).

NewsWay learnt that, the YPP leader might consider running for the Benue North-East senatorial seat in the 2023 general elections.

Comrade Aji, a strong supporter of the YPP leader will also be decamping with his principal though from the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Aji expressed that he is forfeiting his ambition to contest for the State House of Assembly because his principal’s vision is one that needs his total support. His words reads;

“I have to forfeit my ambition at this moment because my principal’s vision is one that needs my total support, so I’m also decamping from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) same day with him.”

Those expected to receive the YPP leader are; The State leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) His Excellency, Distinguished Senator George Akume, an elstwhile Commissioner and Leader of APC in zone A, Hon. Bar. Vincent Uji, a former Council Chairman (Kwande LG) and the Kwande Local Government Chairman of the APC, Hon. Terdoo Kenti.

Others are a former Minister of State for NNPC Hon. Sam Ode, a former Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Hon. Chief Michael Kaase Aondoakaa (SAN), a former Council Chairman (Kwande) Hon. Jonathan Akputu and a strong gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the APC, Hon. Msoo Ghasarah.
