These are some of the most expensive cellphones in the world for the most discerning tech aficionados because they combine design and functionality in absolutely unique ways.

1. Falcon Supernova iPhone 6 Pink Diamond – $48.5 million

Despite everything that has come following, this custom iPhone, which was first created in 2004, still reigns supreme as the most costly smartphone in the world. In comparison to its rivals, the design is very straightforward, with a 24 karat gold exterior that also comes in rose gold and platinum versions.

The phone’s centerpiece is a sizable pink diamond that is embedded in the back panel. The rarity of this phone, which is what drives its price to more than 5 times that of the second most expensive, makes it more expensive while not being as ornate as, say, one of Stuart Hughes’ phones. Given that this is Stuart Hughes’ third entry on the list of priciest phones and that it is just one point off the top, he may have cornered the high-end iPhone market. This magnificent phone is handcrafted and uniquely designed, and its edge is encircled with 500 diamonds totaling 100 carats. The Apple logo and the phone’s back panel are both crafted from real 24 carat gold.

A spectacular 8.6 carat diamond serves as the home button in this logo, which also boasts 53 diamonds and goes above and beyond his previous two designs.

As a “spare” home button, the phone also includes a 7.6 carat diamond! The box this phone comes in, which is made of platinum and is covered with polished bits of Tyrannosaurus Rex bone, along with a variety of rare gemstones including opals, charoite, and pietersite, is what really sets it apart from the competition.

3. iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition – $8 million

There are only two pieces like this in the entire world, and each one is a unique design by Stuart Hughes. The phone is constructed of rose fold and has 53 diamonds on the Apple logo in addition to 500 diamonds totaling 100 carats.

This phone, like the first two, has a diamond in place of the home button, but it ups the ante by using a 7.4-carat pink diamond. Like the Goldstriker, it also comes in a granite display box.

4. Goldstriker iPhone 3GS Supreme – $3.2 million

The Kings Button and the Goldstriker are very similar, but the Goldstriker takes those similarities to a whole new level. One example is that 22 carat gold, 136 diamonds set around the phone’s edge, and 53 additional diamonds used to create the Apple logo are all used in Stuart Hughes’ design.

Once more, a diamond is used as the home button, but this time it weighs a massive 7.1 carats. And if it weren’t great enough, the phone is packaged in a granite box that has leather and Kashmiri gold decorations.

5. iPhone 3G King’s Button – $2.5 million

The King’s Button, another Aloisson creation and possibly his best-known to date, combines 18-karat yellow, white, and rose gold. 138 diamonds are set into the white gold, which is in the shape of a strip that runs around the outside of the phone.

The “King’s Button,” which replaces the home button with a 6.6 carat diamond, is what really sets this phone apart from the competition.
