The company is prepared for the first deliveries as the Tesla Model S and Model X Plaid vehicles have arrived in Germany.
Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles landed at the Belgian port of Zeebrugge and were placed onto auto haulers for customer deliveries, as we reported yesterday. The trucks carrying Model S Plaid and Long Range automobiles were seen in Antwerp, Belgium.
A growing number of Model S and Model X vehicles have recently been sighted on carriers in Germany.
Model S and Model X Plaid and Long Range units have been observed on car carriers in Cologne, close to the Heumar area on Highway A3. Model S vehicles have been observed in recent days. However, this is the first glimpse of Model X vehicles heading to European customers.
Tesla updated its designs in late 2020 and early 2021, which prevented the arrival of the Model S and Model X in Europe. Initial deliveries were anticipated to commence in December, and Tesla was authorized to start making cars after receiving Certificates of Conformity several months prior.
Several ships departed American ports last week on their way to Zeebrugge, and many more are still on their way. As more deliveries are anticipated to be finished before the end of the year, several cargo ships are scheduled to depart the Port of Baltimore in Maryland in the upcoming days with additional Model S and Model X units. To increase the number of deliveries in 2022, Tesla is working quickly to complete orders.
