The Swifin digital platform has gone out of service exactly on the 6th day of January 2022 making it one week today.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Several attempts to reach out to the support team however proved abortive. Newsway however spoke to a Ugandan blogger, Henry Ndugwa of kakensa.com who confidently went to the Swifin’s head office in Kampala to enquire why the maintenance took so long.

The response was simply “things are very much under control” and the upgrade is highly needed at this time.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This morning the support team however responded to a mail sent earlier by Newsway by simply saying “the upgrade will do everyone good.”

On it’s online platform this morning came this caption;

“Due to the unprecedented reach for the Swifin Platform and interest from many countries that has recently occurred. the platform is being super-upgraded to handle the large demand and positioning as the #1 Platform as a Service (PaaS) for financial inclusion across continental Africa and the Economic Community of the African Diaspora (ECO-6), the 6th region.
