Super star president EMS finally reveals he hails from Benue state

Rapper EMS whom many refer to as president EMS based in Lagos has finally opened up the page where the story behind his upcoming and family background had been hidden, (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so surprising as it may be to many of his fans, he hails from Vandeikya local government of Benue state. 

             

          According to president EMS who was recently spotted with Victor AD in a show in Makurdi, said music has ever been part of his life.

 

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Emperor Swag whose real names are Ikyobo Daniel Msughter hails from Vandeikya local government of Benue state. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Msughter is the third out of four boys whose parents are both into teaching jobs. His father is a lecturer while his mother is a secondary school teacher.

EMS attended Anglican secondary school, Makurdi. This was Where he actually discovered his talent in jss 2, due to his newly found lifestyle and the ways he used to mime Eminem and MI’s songs, his friends and mates tagged him with the slogan ‘’the musical icon’’.

EMS recorded his first song back then in SS 3 using part of his school fees to pay for the studio session.

        Before proceeding to Benue Sate University where he read sociology, EMS tested his competence and rap skills through rap battles around Makurdi and the neighboring states of Nassarawa and kogi States respectively.  

             RAP CAREER

 

              Just as mentioned above, EMS started his rap career back in the secondary school where he recorded his first song when he was about to take his post primary certificate exams [WAEC] probably in 2011. Emperor Swag’s first stage appearance was on the 11th of November 2011.
