Pi Network Launches Ambassador Program to Bring Local Companies Into Pi Ecosystem

The second ecosystem initiative unveiled by Pi Network on Pi Day 2023 is becoming a local business ambassador. Similar to the ecosystem ambassador scheme, Pioneers can help the network grow.

Stores, shops, and small businesses that take Pi payments are eligible for the local business ambassador program. Already, a large number of merchants have begun accepting Pi payments for products and services, and Pi Network has acknowledged its significance in building a strong foundation for Decentralized Finance (DeFi) systems.

“Local businesses are an important component to the Pi ecosystem and will make great contributions to building substance and utilities for the network,” Pi Network’s announcement read. “Local businesses are also where the grassroots power of the Pi community can be unleashed to have great potential and impact—something rarely seen in other networks.”

The Pioneers initiative was developed by Pi Network in an effort to support the growth of Pi by integrating local businesses into the Pi ecosystem. While it raises network knowledge, there might be some difficulties.

Pi Network opened community proposals for Pioneers to submit their ideas on encouraging users to incorporate Pi payments into their local businesses in order to address these issues, including location, accountability, and many more.

“If you are knowledgeable about local businesses or enthusiastic about this direction of ecosystem building, submit your ideas via the Pi support portal. Stay tuned for more updates on this program,” Pi Network wrote.
