The Pi Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) recently stated that it had started casting NFTs and had achieved a success rate of roughly 2500 NFTs in the first half hour.
The announcement was tweeted on its official twitter handle @PiCoinDAO yesterday.

NFTs are currently positioned as the digital alternative to collectibles, much as everyone believed that Bitcoin was the digital replacement for cash. As a result of the enormous sales to a new crypto audience, digital artists are witnessing changes in their life.
PiDAO believes this should be incorporated in the Pi ecosystem and hence the ideas was birthed. Pioneers may begin minting the NFTs.
