Kidnappers of two Nollywood stars Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel also known as Agbogidi have requested $100,000 ransom for their release.

The payoff request came 24 hours after the personalities from the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) were kidnapped in an Enugu suburb.

According to the AGN National President, Emeka Rollas, the actors’ abductors have reached their families for the ransom.

He said: “The criminals have connected with the families and are requesting the amount of $100,000. We go to God for his mediation and for Him to place disarray in their camp. He said:

”The kidnappers cleared the monies in Cynthia Okereke’s account this (Saturday) morning.”

Rollas likewise said as a feature of measures to forestall a recurrent event, the Guild had requested its actors not to shoot beyond the city and guarantee that they make satisfactory arrangements for security in their areas.

The abdutees purportedly disappeared subsequent to neglecting to get back from a film area at Ozalla Town, Enugu State on Thursday.
