According to reports, the safe cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin has added Rocket Pool, an Ethereum 2.0 staking pool, to its platform for trade. As of yesterday, January 20th, when public trading was supposed to start, Rocket Pool would be open for trade in a pair with USDT.
Rocket Pool deposit has already commenced on KuCoin, the supported Network is ERC-20 while withdrawal will officially commence today (January 21th). The statement reads in part:
“KuCoin is extremely proud to announce yet another great project coming to our trading platform. Rocket Pool (RPL) will be available on KuCoin. The supported trading pair is RPL/USDT.”
As a staking pool for Ethereum 2.0, the RPL protocol aims to increase Ethereum’s decentralization and security by reducing the hardware and money requirements for ETH 2.0 staking. Users of Rocket Pool are able to bet without fear of being caught against a network of node operators.
What is Rocket Pool (RPL)?
Rocket Pool is a decentralized ETH liquid staking derivative provider. Rocket Pool pairs smart node operators with stakers to pool ETH for staking, then returns rETH to stakers for maintaining liquidity and control of their staked tokens. RPL is the utility and governance token, and it is required to become a node operator.
