The Core DAO, one of the popular cryptocurrency projects in January, is rumored to be launching its mainnet earlier than anticipated.

Two close friends, one from Ethereum and the other from Bitcoin, who are both obviously crypto professionals, created the Core DAO platform. In order to prevent composability, security breaches, and decentralization of the blockchain, these two anonymous pals collaborated to create the Core DAO.

“The idea of Core was sparked by a debate between 2 friends. At the time, one was an ETH maxi, the other, BTC. CoreDAO decided to include the best aspects of each to produce a blockchain that doesn’t compromise on Security, Decentralization, and Composability.”

These unnamed pals have altered the cryptocurrency ecosystem in some ways, as the Core DAO is inextricably linked to the most popular cryptocurrency projects of both last year and this year.

The traditional financial payment stack is rebuilt on the blockchain via the decentralized CORE DAO network. To enable programmable payments and the development of an open financial infrastructure, it uses a basket of fiat-pegged stablecoins that is algorithmically stabilized by its reserve currency CORE. By the end of 2020, the network will have handled over 2 million user transactions totaling an estimated $299 billion.
