BBC news and Vision 4 TV coverage of the pi network is a huge development and a step in the right direction for pioneers. Some may argue that the fact that Pi was on the BBC is irrelevant and won’t do us any good. How is this helpful?
It has been quite helpful. Because to Pi’s IOU listing on numerous platforms including Huobi and MEXC has led to an additional millions of users, it now has over 40 million users, which is enormous. The argument I’m trying to make is that if listing on these exchanges can bring us millions of members, then Pi being featured on a channel like BBC News, which has global coverage can even bring us more users. The CEXes may have even heard of Pi Network through those broadcasts, yeah, it’s possible.
They are not only attempting to explain it; they are also attempting to interview pioneers in order to gain a better understanding of what they have for pi and when mainnet will be launched.
The broadcast that Pi Network received from Vision 4 and the BBC may have contributed to the significant attention it attracted between December 2022 and January 2023.
