Google to accept PiCoin for it’s cloud services next year; partners Coinbase

Google will adopt PiCoin and other crypto payments for cloud services early next year. Surprised right?

This was announced Tuesday at Google’s Cloud Next conference, the tech giant said it will get crypto payments through their partnership with the biggest crypto trading platform, Coinbase.

Initial cryptocurrency payments will be sent to a select group of customers who are actively involved in the Web3 business. Google will also use Coinbase Prime, Coinbase’s custody service.

“We need to make building in Web3 quicker and simpler, and this partnership with Coinbase assists developers draw closer to that goal,” said Thomas Kurian, President of Google Cloud.

PiCoin, one of the most anticipated cryptocurrency projects for 2022, will unquestionably be accepted by any company that chooses to accept cryptocurrency payments for its goods and services. There is no doubt about this; it is a fact that must be acknowledged. PiCoin cannot be rejected by Google because it is also a cryptocurrency and a significant one at that.

The tech company has recently expanded its cryptocurrency features and offerings. For example, Ethereum wallet balances are now displayed when an address is searched on Google, and BNB Chain and Google Cloud are working together to support the early stages of the development of new Web3 and blockchain businesses.

Google will be particularly interested in Pi Network after the Mainnet because it is a platform designed for the web 3 and a cryptocurrency project that has been long expected; after all, they did not express their preference. Other than Pi Network, large tech businesses are interested in investing in the crypto mining platform that is expanding very fast.

“We could not ask for a better partner to help execute our vision of developing a trustworthy bridge into the Web3 ecosystem,” stated Brian Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of Coinbase.

“We anticipate further collaborations with established players. Coinbase will appear less like a pure-play crypto exchange and more like an integrated digital asset enabler as the long-term crypto economy grows “said Oppenheimer analyst Owen Lau
