The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all of Davido’s domestic staff workers are currently being held in custody following the death of the singer’s kid, Ifeanyi.
After hearing about Ifeanyi’s death, the command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, verified this to the Daily Post on Tuesday morning.
When the youngster drowned in a pool at his father’s home in Banana Island on Monday, the DMW chairman and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, were not at home.
The Lagos PPRO said in an interview with DAILY POST about the tragic occurrence that a preliminary inquiry is presently underway to determine what caused the boy’s death.
Domestic staff from Davido’s home have been brought to the station to provide their own accounts of what transpired, the man added. That is not yet an arrest, in my opinion.
“If anyone of them is proven to be responsible after they have all given their own accounts of what occurred and preliminary investigations, the person will now be placed under arrest.”
