ECO-6: McPherson meets Nigerian Stock Exchange CEO Oscar Onyema ahead of the planned Lumi withdrawal

The head of the African Diaspora Sixth Region (ECO-6) His Excellency Timothy Elisha McPherson has met with the head of the Nigerian Stock Exchange ahead of the planned Lumi exchange.

McPherson met with Oscar Onyema who is the former CEO of the Nigerian Stock Exchange alongside the former Director General of the Nigerian Security Exchange Commission (SEC) Mounir H. Gwarzo to discuss how Lumi can immediately be integrated in the economy.

However, McPherson is planning a meeting with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Governor, Godwin Emiefere in a later date.

This was revealed through an unverified twitter handle of the ECO-6 today (Friday).

No comment has been received as at the time of filling this report.

Lumi Digital currency is scheduled to commence conversion in October this year (2022) according to the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) issued by the officials of the Region. Although up till now Newsway is yet to confirm which country has comply with the directives of the ECO-6.
