Justice Bolaji Olajuwon of the government high court Abuja has given a request for the arrest of Diezani Alison-Madueke, former Minister of Petroleum Resources, following an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
At the present hearing, Farouk Abdullah, direction to EFCC had made an application for the capture of the ex-serve. He guaranteed all endeavors by the Commission to remove her have been ineffective.
The adjudicator who conceded the solicitation made by EFCC suspended the matter forthcoming the capture of the ex-serve.
At the point when the matter was called up in court, Abdullah made an oral application mentioning a warrant for the capture of Mrs Allison-Madueke.
He let the court know that endeavors made by the commission in removing Mrs Allison-Madueke to stand preliminary were never effective thus, the oral application for a capture warrant.
He said the warrant was important to empower the global police (INTERPOL) to bring back the litigant to deal with the charges liked against her.
Abdullah noticed that the capture warrant was essential for the necessity by the workplace of the Attorney General of the Federation for the removal.
