The forthcoming airdrop’s details, including the allocation proportion for participants and Web2 compatibility, were updated for the Core DAO community. As the community of millions prepares for the historic debut, excitement is growing for the Core DAO mainnet and the airdrop.

The airdrop will be Web2 and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible, according to the most recent blog update from January 10, making it accessible to the finest that the internet has to offer.

Most crucially, there was no mention of a deadline, although the airdrop will happen after the mainnet’s impending launch.

Core’s airdrop will be conducted in partnership with Satoshi App and will take place after mainnet launch once post-mainnet work for the airdrop is completed,” the blog post writes.

Additionally, not all allocations will be given right away via the airdrop. 25% of each recipient’s allocation will be made available up front, with the remaining 75% becoming available after two years. This initial 25% allotment will be open for staking and may help stop currency dumping in the future.

Further developments are coming, and users are encouraged to follow the Core DAO team on social media to stay in the loop, the team said in a statement to the community.
