The well-known Pentecostal pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and his wife Helen have finally divorced after 25 years of marriage.
Politics Nigeria discovered that a protracted and vehement misunderstanding is what led to the division.
Ufuoma Bernard, a self-described “Bishop of Godism” from the Niger Delta, claims that Helen claimed in a WhatsApp chat from earlier in 2022 that the estranged spouse wanted her dead.
She is rumored to have been in a passionate relationship with a man for ten years.
Helen is claimed to have left the marital home and traveled to Britain with the children, and Pastor Oritsejafor has returned to the property after having left it for about a year, according to Bernard.
In Warri, Delta State, Oritsejafor founded and serves as Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church.
On February 7, 2005, he was elected national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), a position he maintained for five years.
Oritsejafor was chosen as the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the group that represents all Nigerian Christians, in July 2010. He did this in order to hold the position as the first Pentecostal leader.
