Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of the cryptocurrency exchange giant Binance has said his company’s team are working on solution to help the government of Turkey over the earthquake that has claimed thousands of lives.
CZ expressed his sadness over the earthquake in Turkey in a tweet. He claimed there weren’t enough details to determine the precise toll and area affected, but he’s held a lot of meetings to that effect to ensure his company supports the Turkish government.
“We are truly saddened by the earthquake in Turkey. Our team has been working on a solution to help the people. There are quite a few details. I have had 4 meetings on it today. More details to come. Stay strong.”

According to Turkish authorities, 3,419 people have died as a result of the earthquakes that were concentrated in southeast Turkey, raising the total death toll—including those in northern Syria—to more than 5,000.
The search and rescue efforts are being impeded by the cold and snow, but dozens of nations from across the world have pledged support.
Early on Monday, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake destroyed buildings while people slept, and it was followed by a magnitude 7.6 earthquake and several aftershocks.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the original earthquake’s epicenter was roughly 20 miles (33 kilometers) from Gaziantep, a major city and provincial seat in Turkey.
