BenueGuber2023: NNPP Presidential Candidate, National Chairman Present Flag to Prof. Angwe, Others In North Central

The governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP in Benue state, Prof. Bem Angwe has been presented with the party’s flag with a mandate to lead the party’s campaign and ensure its victory in the March general elections.

Leader of the Party and presidential candidate in the February 25th presidential election, Sen. Engr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Ph.D and the NNPP national chairman, Prof. Rufa’i Ahmed Alkali presented the party’s flag to Prof. Bem Angwe and all the Governorship and Senatorial candidates of the NNPP from the North Central the North Central Presidential Zonal Rally of the party held at Lafia Square in Nasarawa State on Tuesday.

Presenting the flag, Sen. Kwankwaso said Prof. Angwe has records of excellence performance and would deploy it for the development of Benue state.

He urged electorates from the North Central and Nigerians to vote for NNPP candidates from President to House of Assembly in order to bring about sanity in the country.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after receiving his flag, the former Chairman of the Governing board of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) and Ex National Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, commended Sen. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso and the leadership of the party and assured the People of Benue state and the public of an all inclusive government when elected adding that this was the only way to salvage the present situation.

The rally had in attendance the Vice Presidential Candidate of the party, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, Benue deputy governorhsip candidate, Hon. (Mrs) Comfort Ogbaji, all the governorship and Senatorial candidates of the NNPP from the North Central, Benue state Working Committee (SWC) of NNPP, all national and state assembly candidates in Benue state amongst others.

Prof. Angwe; a Professor of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law and university Don was overwhelmingly elected as the NNPP gubernatorial flagbearer in Benue state on the 7th June, 2022.
