21 teenagers who were abducted from a farm in Mairuwa, Faskari Local Government Area, Katsina State, have been freed by their abductors.
The abducted teenagers, who range in age from 16 to 21, were abducted on the farm five days ago.
Their release was reported on Saturday by the state’s police spokeswoman, SP Gambo Isa, who did not specify whether or not a ransom was paid.
“It is with great delight that I announce the release of all 21 of the young farmworkers who were abducted in Kamfanin Mai Lafiya village in the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State while working on a farm.
While the inquiry is underway, they have already been reunited with their families, according to Isa.
