Vitalik Buterin the co-founder of Ethereum has donated 99 $ETH to Turkey and Syria

Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, sent roughly $150,000 in ether to Ahbap Earthquake Support to aid with the recent catastrophe in Turkey and Syria.

According to transaction data from Etherscan, 99 ether were sent from the wallet address vitalik.eth to a wallet labelled “Ahbap Yardm / Earthquake Support.”

Currently, the receiver wallet has 393 ether in it, which is worth over $600,000 at the current exchange rate. Its interests are worth more than $1.55 million in total.

According to the official Ahbap website, $4,207,562 in cryptocurrency donations have been received.
