Condition 1 focuses on the Core Team’s efforts in technology, product, business, and legal domains to align with Pi Network’s consistent strategies. The team reports that overall preparation work for the Open Network is on track, with numerous product releases and updates since the beginning of the year. These include significant milestones such as the KYC update, Pi Browser revamp, Pi Ad Network launch, and ongoing hackathons. The introduction of these products not only contributes to the vision of the ecosystem but also aids the community in progressing towards their KYC and utility milestones.
Regarding Condition 2, the community has made substantial strides:
- – KYC: Over 9.45 million Pioneers have completed KYC, up from 8 million in December 2023.
- – Mainnet Migration: Over 4.64 million Pioneers have migrated to Mainnet, compared to 3.9 million in December 2023.
- – Utility: The community has developed 50 Mainnet or Mainnet-ready Pi apps, an increase from 40 in December 2023.
Acknowledging that KYC and migration speed are not linear, the team emphasizes the importance of continued progress. They call upon all Pioneers to participate in a “Race to 10 million KYC” event, aimed at accelerating progress towards Open Network goals. This event will also showcase the merits of the new Pi Browser – PiNet loop, providing Pioneers with firsthand experience of the ecosystem’s evolution.
