Nigeria, the Africa’s most populous Nation with the highest number of Pioneers in Africa has recorded the first barter transaction thus becoming Africa’s first Nation to transact with the Pi (π) Network Coin since the launch of the PiChainMall last week.
The transaction which took place in Kano State was reported by Pi UNIVERSE on its twitter handle yesterday.
According to Pi UNIVERSE, two Pioneers of the Hausa descent swapped a bike for Pi (π). The transaction was captured in a video clip, involving two Pioneers from Kano State bartering a red bike (Make and Model not disclosed). Speaking in Hausa Language, the Pioneers successfully bartered the bike at the cost of 10π thus becoming the most costly thing on the Mall. The tweet reads:

However, the transaction which should have been celebrated globally is rather hit by criticisms as many Pioneers laments it violates the global consensus value of Pi (π) which ought to be $314,159 per Pi (π).
Newsway reported earlier that, Nigeria and China were the two noticable Countries with the highest number of merchants on the PiChainMall.
