A brand-new integrated multichain asset swap tool from OpenOcean connects to significant blockchains like BNB Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Fantom. Users will be able to swap and bridge assets between all of the connected chains thanks to the swap capability.
The brand-new function went live on December 20 and carries on OpenOcean’s mission to be the top aggregator and bridge between various blockchain networks. With the integration of the bridge technology from Celer and Multichain, OpenOcean is able to provide speedy and affordable swap rates for a large number of tokens.
“The DeFi landscape has been changing rapidly, and now more than ever, there exists a need for better cross-chain interoperability,” writes the Dec. 20 blog announcement. “OpenOcean has decided that a secure and accessible decentralized cross-chain platform is necessary.”
More than 1,100 cryptocurrencies are supported by OpenOcean, which plans to expand the capabilities of the swap service by leveraging the expanding blockchain network. On December 22, OpenOcean prominently integrated Aptos, and more swap connections will also depend on the competence of the bridge partner. For instance, Celer may be in position to be one of the next networks to receive this feature after integrating Aptos in October.
