JUST IN: Coinbase provides step-by-step guide on how to buy $CORE ahead of the CORE DAO Airdrop; planning to list the coin soon

The most popular cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, has just expressed interest in listing CORE, most likely following the coin’s release on February 8th. When the coin becomes available, the CEX is said to have issued a step-by-step guide on how users and investors can purchase CORE (Core DAO) on its platform.

Numerous variables, including location and protocol, are important when purchasing cryptocurrencies. On Coinbase’s Centralized Exchanges (CEX), Core DAO is not currently listed. However, after the first Airdrop, Core DAO can still be purchased using Coinbase Wallet, which is the entry point to the cryptocurrency world.

How to purchase CORE (CORE DAO) using a Coinbase wallet:

1. Download Coinbase Wallet: To purchase CORE DAO, a self-custody wallet such as Coinbase Wallet is necessary. A browser extension and mobile app for Coinbase Wallet are both available.

2. Choose a Username: You must select a username while configuring your Coinbase Wallet. With this login, other Coinbase Wallet users can send you cryptocurrency with ease. The username is to be kept secret, however it is necessary to access the account.

3.Securely store your recovery phrase: You’ll receive a recovery phrase made up of 12 random words when you create a new self-custody wallet. Your recovery phrase serves as the encryption key for your crypto, making it accessible to everyone who knows it. Never divulge your recovery phrase to anyone.

In addition to using the cloud backup function of Coinbase Wallet, it is highly advisable to write these down on paper and store them securely.

Note: Never divulge your recovery phrase to anyone. Coinbase will be unable to assist you in gaining access to your wallet if you forget your recovery phrase.

4. Understand and plan for Ethereum network fees: Fees vary based on how busy the network is, how complicated the transaction is, and how fast you’d like the transaction completed. Plan to set aside some money for fees.

5. Buy and transfer ETH to Coinbase Wallet: To purchase Ethereum (ETH), you must first open a Coinbase account if you don’t already have one. Using the Chrome extension or the mobile app will affect how you send ETH to your Coinbase Wallet.

Enter how much ETH you want to trade for coreDAO. Don’t forget to budget for transaction costs.

7. To complete: Confirm your purchase and follow the instructions on the screen to finalize.
