FACT: Pi Coin reportedly overtakes Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Binance BNB and Solana in less than 24 hours of listing on exchanges

Since Satoshi published Bitcoin in 2009, which is believed to be the first cryptocurrency in the world, no cryptocurrency asset has ever achieved the same level of historical significance as the native token of the Pi Network.

In less than 24 hours after being listed on the platform, Pi (Pi Network) soared dramatically by 37400% to trade for $35,000, according to data posted by Atlantis Exchange on twitter.

However, as the Pi Coin price hasn’t been standardized across exchanges, the value is still vary. As of the time of writing, the value of Pi on Huobi has decreased to $164.72, a -13% drop, despite soaring on the Atlantis Exchange.

Currently, the prices of Bitcoin (BTC) is $16,706.52, Ethereum (ETH) is $1,217.32, Binance (BNB) is $246.40, Litecoin (LTC) is $75.61, and Solana (SOL) seem to be $11.04 accordingly. Pi Coin, in contrast, is currently trading at $35,000. This makes it the most expensive cryptocurrency available.

What is Pi Network?

Nicolas Kokkalis and Chengdiao Fan of Stanford University created the Pi network. To make digital money available to everyone, they began working on it in 2018. They created the Pi Network app and published a whitepaper on March 14, 2019.

The project makes environmental sustainability a priority, which can entice investors who are concerned about the environment. It may be particularly effective given that the crypto market has frequently received criticism for its high energy usage as a result of processes like proof-of-work (PoW), which harms the environment.
