Barack Obama, Elon Musk and Justin Bieber tops list of top 10 most followed accounts on Twitter

A former United States’ president Barack Obama appears to have more followers on the social media giant platform Twitter, followed by the world’s most richest man and new owner of the Twitter company, Elon Musk. Justin Bieber, a music icon followed Musk closely according to a publication by World of Statistics with the handle @stats_feed.

The tweet revealed that, Former President Barack Obama have 133.3m followers, followed by the Tesla Automobile Boss, Elon Musk who has 115.9m followers while the young Canadian music star Justin Bieber occupied the third place with 113.7m followers respectively.

The tweet also revealed the position of some influential personalities on the platform as follows:

  • Katy Perry 108.8m followers
  • Rihanna 107.1m followers
  • Cristiano Ronaldo 104.8m followers
  • Taylor Swift 91.8m followers
  • Lady Gaga 84.8m followers

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, had roughly 110 million followers, but this number has grown significantly since the internet was inundated with news of the acquisition.
